Skitter--The first
resident of Kimyra that Jarrett meets (Kat, too, when her turn comes), Skitter is a ribek. When they are
confused, ribeks tip their eyes until they cross.
From Wizard Chase:
The rabbit scratched one ear with what should have been its front paw. It had fingers. The closer I looked I saw that it wasn’t a rabbit at all. The creature was about the same size and shape as a cottontail, but its ears were shorter, and slightly rounded, and its face was flatter, more like a koala bear than a rabbit. Both eyes looked right at me. As I watched, those eyes got big.
"What’s that behind you?"
